Green Projects

Projects are made to proposed best solutions for complex problems that a certain company, establishment and even areas like cities and countries have currently experienced. It won’t exist if there is no need of a new development for better benefits of the company. Somehow, the purpose of projects is to provide an enhancement of the functionalities in the day to day business transactions. It will let consumers see more reasons of implementing and indulging on to a certain project if it has a good impact to the society and to their life, just like reducing the use of their current sources for their transactions, fewer expenses to be short. People will also pamper to an idea of every project if this show a more advance stage to increase the profit.



In such case with proposing solar farms project, more positive impacts are delivered than the negative. Aside from it is considered as “green” class project, as part of its derivable benefits, it attracts solar power companies to initiate them because of their ability to generate profit. In some point, having solar farms reduce dependency on electricity generated by plants that use fossil fuels. Through that, the lengths of transmission lines will be reduce and will also decrementally change the cost of project. In that manner, the project manager will be confident to pursue such project. However, the government restricts this ideate because it is not applicable for the farms with class 1, 2, or 3 soil which means a more fertile farm land. This type of problem is no big deal, because the project manager can easily change the target clients for solar farm project. The best place to implement this type of project is in a very rural area where in farmers have the difficulties of caring their plants just because of the absence of electricity. Furthermore, the Canadian Solar Industries Association which is the association that really fights for the project have assert that using solar on the farms will not harm the fertile farmland. Instead, it even helps those ploughed but left unseeded to regain fertility.



Now, everything seems to be alright but another problem exists. There are no stakeholders that could support the project in such account purposes. The project needs to be exposed and must gain popularity just like a superstar actress having lots of avid fans that whatever movies she has, it will always be put on a star list for many have watched and supported it. If this solar farms project could have a higher public profile, it is easy to gain and find stakeholders and to have that public interest, and the association must demonstrate every repayment that this project could give. Nonetheless, they must prioritize those net present value and internal rate or return that this project can burst out for the government and get an approval from them.



In this type of situation that solar farm project is encountering, I conclude that no matter how environmentally “friendly” the proposed project is, still it will undergo a closed examination. More and more flaws to be discovered but that doesn’t mean that it signifies failure; everything under the sun can’t be perfect. Perhaps every criticism labeled in a proposed project is a purpose to make it more than the best it can to show that it is really proposed for a great development and not by another options to take.

What type of company I wish to set-up?

There maybe times at my age right now, 19 years of age, it’s hard to decide and make things clear in just a blink of an eye. In my legal age, I am very much exposed to this world, witnessing all those both good and bad situations happening in our country and even experiencing crisis, calamity and other problems. It’s kind of difficult to think of what a company I wish to set-up, if given the chance. Well, who would say that they never dreamed of owning a company? As one of my prerogatives in life says:


“Dreaming of things you want is for free but no one is obliged to grant it but yourself.”


During our Technopreneurship1, last semester, when our Prof., Mr. Randy S. Gamboa discuss to us about the common mindset of every student attending at school is just to graduate and find good job to provide their necessity in life. Indeed, I was enlightened that in spite of being an employee on prestigious company, it is better to put-up your own business because all the profits would goes to you. Unlike, being employed your income would probably goes to all of your expenses and not by earning enough.



Perhaps we would say that it’s not easy to put up or build starting business coz’ we doubt at first if it will grow or click in the trend of every generation. Somehow, as my answer to that problem, is you must be wise enough to choose a type of business you wish to set-up. But how, in what way? One thing I couldn’t forget during our Tehcno1 is that you must put up business that is unique, can be an innovation, still it’s better to think of a business that is new to everyone and that your product is a lifetime needs of everybody. One tip given to us in our Techno1 in thinking of business is the serendipity walk. Through walking and walking you would realize something out from what you have observe in the surroundings and in that way you will come up with a good idea of a business plan.


Pieces by pieces, we made a whole. From point to another point we make line and from centavos to peso we earn millions.

Everything under the sun begins with a small and tiny cells, become a grown up one when they’re combined. Just like putting up a small business becomes an enterprise, have branches or franchise then begun to grown up and make a name in the industry as one of those successful company. Without any bushing, straight to the point, what I often dreamed of is to set-up a company for all IT experts and computer literate people. I wish to name that company with “ELITE WORLD OF IT”. I’ve remember, during my second year life in college my colleagues and I used to talk about our frustrations of having our own village where all of us, IT people, lived. We dreamed of having a design of fantasy type collaborating with technology like a wall appearing between our palace when we need privacy and an invisible social hall for us to have party. Those are part of the things we wish to have in the near future and many of them I wish to tackle will take time for me to mention all. Well going back to my wished company, I was thinking that it would be nice if all IT experts in the Philippines will be combined into one great dimension and begin to explode their specialties.

I wish to et-up this company not just for the reason of evolving life with technology, though it’s part of the idea but my main point is make a center place for IT graduates. They don’t have to apply in different company and have a work which they haven’t undergo in their study life. Although some of us would say ‘we never know we might excel in different phase’. True! But the time you indulge yourself in technology, it is assuming if you would say that you fill fulfilled with just owning and seeing those technologies that slowly approaching to one of our desire in life.

Furthermore, my wish company would also give services such as programming, developing system, web developing too, designing a system and many more. It takes time to enumerate all services that I wish to have in a company because IT world is a fast approaching one and will always grows. It goes deeper every bit of our pulse.



Not by saying goodbye, but this moment I would say:



“Till’ then”.
